Mobile Food Pantry

Hospitality Team

We are seeking volunteers to usher, greet, serve communion, or drive the church shuttle. Sign up for a rotating shift! Email renee@perdidobay.church

 

Bright Bridge Ministries  

Volunteers will join others on a team of 6-8, for about 3 hours, to prepare 250 meals for our neighbors in the Brownsville area. Typical "KP" duties will include chopping and dicing, cooking veggies and meats, assembling finished recipes and clean up detail at the brand new kitchen facilities at Bright Bridge Ministries ( https://brightbridgeministries.org/ )  No cooking skills needed, we will train you on the spot in a Covid safe environment.  You can expect to serve once a month unless you desire more culinary fun!

 

Barnabas

Assist with preparing and delivering meals for those who are facing challenging medical situations or losses.

Grumpy Old Men Group

Assist persons from the community (such as elderly/disabled) who are physically unable to complete various projects in their homes and yards. Both men and women volunteers are welcomed and appreciated!
