Christmas Sermon Series: True North

During this Advent season we will be focusing our eyes on the light of the world. Our lives need direction and we recognize that in the birth of Jesus Christ we receive the “True North” that guides our steps. From Mary, to the wise men, to the shepherds, to you, we have all been given God’s gift to live the life God desires for all creation. Join us throughout Advent as we take on the call of centering our hearts on the “True North” that God has sent into the world. Join us each Sunday at 9:00am (Contemporary Worship) and 11:00am (Traditional Worship)!

Hanging of the Greens

Wednesday, December 4, 6:00pm (Dinner served 4:30-5:45pm)

It’s almost time! In this service of celebration we will adorn our Sanctuary for the Advent season. Dinner will be served at 4:30pm in the Gym. Nursery, Elementary, and Youth will eat in the Education Building. Following dinner, Elementary and Youth will join us in the Sanctuary for this joy-filled evening. Nursery provided.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, December 7, 8:00-10:00am

Night of Hope Christmas Musical: "Under a Starry Sky"

Wednesday, December 11, 6:00pm (Dinner served 4:30-5:45pm)

Perdido Bay Methodist Church's Worship Ministry presents that dramatic musical "Under a Starry Sky." After her husband Travis loses his job right before Christmas, Melody struggles with her relationship with God. After an unexpected journey where she meets an unusual cast of characters, Melody comes to realize how to "share the light" of Christ through the Christmas season. Come enjoy this unique, worshipful retelling of the nativity story as performed by Pensacola community actors, professional orchestral musicians, the Traditional Choir, The Wave Youth, Perdido Bay Kids! Worship, and even our youngest church members from the nursery. This FREE event will be performed on Wednesday, December 11th at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary of Perdido Bay Methodist Church. This will truly be an experience that can be enjoyed by all ages! Nursery Provided.

The Longest Night

Wednesday, December 18, 6:00pm

An evening of prayer and comfort for those experiencing difficulties during this season. Join us for “The Longest Night” service as we draw close to God and His words of peace. Nursery Provided.

Family Service of Lessons & Carols

Sunday, December 22, 9:00am and 11:00am

All ages will gather in the Sanctuary for a family oriented service of lessons and carols as we sing and reflect on the scriptures pointing to the birth of Jesus Christ. Nursery Provided.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services

Tuesday, December 24, 3:00pm (Contemporary), 6:00pm (Traditional)

A beautiful evening of praise and candlelight as we welcome the the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. Join us in the Sanctuary for Christmas Eve Candlelight Services. Nursery provided.
